Hi Everyone,

I am Simon and a newbie here 109WR077. I am a Brit in Budapest Hungary but have lived and used radio in some other places such as Liechtenstein, San Marino, Slovakia, Czech Republic and before pre-1989 in Czechoslovakia. Latvia, Poland, Germany, Luxembourg, Lithuania amongst others. Went and played radio in some crazy spots. On air 46 years this year and love it like day 1 on the air.

What else? Look forward to hearing WR members on the air and crossing antennas. Hobbies radio, some writing about radios for magazines I’ve done this 1984-2018 and testing new stuff, amps, antennas and radios.

Yep just a radio guy…

Regards

Shack actually depends I guess. Have FT891, 991A, FT710, TS2000, Icom 7300 and a selection of Presidents, CRT, Uniden and others. Chop and change them. Antennas Sigma Venom 5/8, President Himalaya WB, Antron 99 and mobile lots of whips, Sirio, old USA made Wilson’s, 102 whip etc..

Lots of stuff, collected over time, plenty to make me crazy 😝
