I have been buying All kind of new Equipment during this time and gathered up an extensive amount of gear. I finally Started out with a 102" whip inside and ran 4 long 8 gauge wires from it and got really far out there, lol. I started to hear "XX division- needle bender_ operator- xxxxx" I first heard Kate on YouTube and started hearing them all around me. I talk to a few after I was able to position the IMAX-2000 24 FOOT ANTENNA and I really started getting out there, Texas, Cali, The Rockies, Oklahoma etc... It took me a while to figure out who these needle-benders were. I noticed how polite they are, very pleasant. I thought it was someone with some big time wattage, lol. It wasn't until a few days ago I found out it was a group and said "WOW I GOTTA SEE IF THEY'LL LET ME JOIN". So here I am lol 🙂. I am on Disability for messed up back etc... I figure what a better time to get back into it. 😃. I'll show you my mess, I Don't have my stuff all all organized yet, because I been doing Trial and error with all the antennas I bought . But you can see my 24 foot antenna going from the corner of 1 room thru the door and over my steps into the corner of the high ceiling. OK here goes a few images. Enjoy and have a great laugh. OH My radios are Cobra-142 GTL, (I Am re-capping that soon)Ranger RHF-618 ( my first touch screen), QT-40, AT-5555, AT5555II-2 , Several Radio shack CBs, many older Mobiles, 12 Handhelds and TYT-TH-9800D. 11 Base antennas and 4 mobiles. lol Yeah I just kept buying. Not for large amounts of power but in how they operate. The President, Rick NB777 is alwats listening. The club is by invitation only from the President. I haven't decided where I want to setup my shack. I Love the way all my radios perform, so I got to decided on my main radio hahaha. Once I get an antenna outside I should be able to get out further. Thank you , WOW that is a REALLY AWESOME Shack you got. I started at 14 years old, Talked until about the age of 21. Git back into it around the age of 30. Nothing big just local talk.
