Bob, WR2209, local friend of mine, has been coaching me as I dig further into the radio world. My father is a longtime radio guy and finally got me to install a mobile into my truck Jan 2020...the CB bug hit (ie Constantly Buying) and I'm now gathering quite the collection! Commuting conversations while to & from work and nightly talks with my dad's bunch of buddies on 26.735 AM. Started making contacts on SSB just before Christmas 2021 and my log book is quickly filling up. I was using the call sign of WWS080 and now will be using my 2WR080. I've made a few contacts with WR members in the past few months and look forward to many more!
